Six Months

Jacob is six months old!  I really cannot believe how fast the time is flying with his sweet little life.  This child is so precious.  He could not be a happier baby!  He smiles at anyone and everyone and as his Aunt Amy says, he makes everyone feel like the most important person in the world.  He sure makes me feel that way!  I know that I've said over and over how much he loves his big brother, but now, he is starting to feel for him.  If Sam is sad, Jacob cries.  If Sam is laughing, Jacob laughs.  If Sam is talking (which is 95% of the time), Jacob is smiling.  To see them love each other is so amazing to me!  Jacob is rolling over both ways now and uses rolling as a means of transportation.  He sits up great and we've even put him in a high chair at restaurants a couple of times.  The boy loves to eat.  We had a little bit of a rocky start on the solids, but once he got it, he got it.  He eats peas, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, prunes, applesauce, bananas and cereal.   He is starting to really enjoy playing with toys, but his favorite things to do are watch Sam play and watch Tex play.  If he were any sweeter, I don't know what I'd do!!
