Easter weekend was packed full. It began with Sam's Easter party at school, where they had jellybean races, an egg hunt, and easter cake. Then, we had an Easter brunch on Saturday with an Easter egg hunt (the only place I took my camera), and our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt at our park. Then, Sunday, we went to church and celebrated with our church family. We wrapped up the weekend by heading to my parents house for lunch and the first swim of the year (dads and kids...too cold for Amy and me!).
Get ready, set, go!
Sam is ready...

David and I decided to be spontaneous this week and we put the kids in the car and told them we were going somewhere fun, but didn't tell them where we were going! It was so fun to have them guessing where we were going and to surprise them with a trip to the Houston Children's Museum. We had such fun together. It is definitely a benefit to have an engineer with you when you go to places like this. We built boats, lego cars, rockets, airplanes, and parachutes. I'm so thankful to have a patient husband who really takes his time with his kids to help them understand how things work.

Sam pulling the water thing...not sure what this is for, but it was fun to Sam!

Jacob building another car...this one actually stayed together and made it to the finish line!

Been busy with these two precious boys. They keep me busy...and, I am enjoying the busy moments with them. Baseball. Bikes. Scooters. Climbing. Jumping. Bubbles. Running. Fun. We've been having a blast. I'm so thankful for these two little men in my life.
