I am so very blessed with these two guys in my life! And, if you don't already know, the Lord is blessing me with another little boy as well! I can't believe that I am going to be the mom of two little boys. I am BESIDE myself excited about this. At first, I was a little disappointed because I've always thought that I wanted a girl...being a girly girl and all. But, the more that I've been able to think about the fact that I'm having two boys, the more excited I am getting! Sam talks about having his little brother in the house and often says, "I want him to come out." He talks about what he is going to share...and, what he is not going to share. We'll work on that. David is such an incredible dad and Sam acts more and more like him every day. He loves to help David with anything...even throwing something away. You can just see in his eyes that he adores his daddy, and I am so happy about that! Sam is not such a toddler anymore now, but so much of a little boy. We have full conversations and he is very expressive. I am more in love with him everyday. Some fun things he's said lately:
Last night, I asked him who he wanted to pray for and he said, "Addison...she not have any tractors at her house...or monster trucks...just a kitchen....AND you have to wait your turn to play wif it."
The other night, I asked him what he wanted to thank God for today and he just said "Jesus." My heart melted.
David asked Sam if he was going to share his monster trucks with his little brother and he said "no...he can get his own."
We were watching a baby einstein video and he saw a baby go to his mama and he said, "he going to get his mama...you are MY mama."
We were talking about the sky the other day and going through what things go in the sky...I would say, "does an elephant go in the sky...etc." and sam would answer. I said, "does daddy go in the sky" and sam just said, "If he's in an airplane."
And, Sam is constantly negotiating with me over anything and sometimes, it is just hard not to give in because he is so creative in his asking.
Anyway, enough rambling...I just wanted to write some things down so I didn't forget!!

Oh, Sherry, he's adorable!!! I think I'd have to give him whatever he asked for - every time! I think you will definitely love two boys - really the only joy that surpasses two boys, is THREE boys!!! (and a girl, of course!)
You are such a great mom - you will love the life ahead!!! I love you so!
Congrats on another boy Sherry! I too remember the slight twinge of disappointment when I found out I was having 2 boys, but it is so much fun. You're right, they're precious! And how fun for Sam to have a brother to play with! Hope you're doing well!
