Summer Georgia Trip

We had a fantastic trip to Georgia this week and are so thankful that we got to spend time with family!  We had a very busy trip and loved every minute of it.  We flew into Atlanta on Wednesday and headed straight to the Georgia aquarium and then met Uncle Matt and Aunt Meredith for dinner at the OK Cafe.  We then headed to the McClure's and spent lots of time playing at their house and in their yard...which was a treat since we haven't been playing outside much in the Houston summer.  We also went to Monkey Joe's, the marina, indoor mini golf, red robin, chef lee's, and many other things.  But our favorite thing to do at Grammie and Diddy's house is to....................

play with the wheel barrow
roll on "the" hill
and again...
play in "Diddy's playroom" (which, is full of David and Uncle Matt's old toys as well)
hang out...

run laps...
run down the hill...

 and climb trees...

On Sunday, we spent the day at Uncle Matt's house with him and our new Aunt Meredith.  They were so sweet to host a family with two very busy boys on a Sunday that they could have spent resting (or wedding planning).  Uncle Matt played the Wii with Sam for a very long time and Aunt Meredith spent sweet time with Jacob as well as hosting all of us.  We are quite a bunch to host!  We also had the joy of having David's grandmother come and visit.

We had an early flight out on Monday, so we spent the night in a hotel right next to the airport on Sunday night.  They boys had so much fun watching the airplanes take off and land!
Then, it was time to say goodbye!
Thanks for a wonderful trip!  We'll see you soon!

Well, we had a wonderful time with you, David, and the boys. I hate that we see y'all so infrequently! Hopefully, we can plan a trip to see you all in Houston soon. Lots of love, "Aunt Meredith" (I love that!) :)
