Growing Up Too Fast

Sam made me cry last night when he said, "I don't need my blankies to sleep anymore."  I wanted to say, "yes, you do..they are the only 'baby' thing left!!!"  But, I didn't.  I let him sleep without them and just told him that they would be in the bed if he needed them.  

One of my favorite things to do is peek on the boys when they are sleeping.  Sam is usually sprawled out on his back on top of his blankies and Jacob is usually on his tummy with his legs tucked under him and his head on his blankie.  I thought that when I went to peek on Sam, he would surely have his blankies, but he didn't.  He just looked like a big kid tucked under his covers sound asleep.  So precious.  I can't believe that he is growing up!

Jacob has started calling Sam "bubba."  We don't call Sam this, so I'm not sure where it comes from except "brother."  It is so sweet and it makes Sam laugh everytime....which, makes Jacob laugh.  

These boys have my heart and I so enjoy being their mom!
