Sam in School

Sam had his first "real" week of school this week and he did great!  We do car line at his school because it is a full school (PK-12th grade) and all of the students start at the same time.  Car line is a little hard for me, but Sam took to it like a pro.  We have the privilege to take Sam's big cousin, Caleb to school, so he really helps a lot with Sam.  The first day, we just pulled up and Sam jumped out of the car and went to the meeting place to find his class.  One really fun thing is that the administrator that got Sam out of the car also goes to our church and she was the very first person that Sam ever went to in the nursery!  It really seems like just yesterday that I put him in the nursery and church and now he is in preschool!  He doesn't talk much about what he does at school, but I am confident that he has fun. I have a dear friend who is Sam's "music and motor" and "science" teacher and she sends me pictures of Sam while he is at school.  I can't even tell you how this eases my mommy mind!

We had parent's night last week at school and I absolutely love Sam's teacher.  You can tell that she really spends time with the kids and already knows their personality.  Each Thursday, she sends a folder home to tell us what they did that week.  She writes about our child so that we know how he did during the week.  This week, she put "Sam is eager to learn and very good at problem solving."  When I talked to her, I asked if he behaved well and she told me that she couldn't imagine Sam being a problem in class.  I warned her that in a couple of months, when he is completely comfortable with her, the "problem solving" may turn into "negotiations," but she assured me that she'd let me know if he didn't behave.  Help me.

There are seven kids in Sam's class...five girls and two boys.  I can't wait to see all that happens with these kiddos this year!  It is really so fun to know that Sam is doing well in school and loving it!

I consider it a great privilege to be one of Sam's teacher. Thank you.
I love trying to capture as many moments of the kids as I can. Sam has already left many wonderful imprints on my heart. Each picture I send your way is meant to fill you with joy because there all from Him. So enjoy them all. There will be many more to come this school year.
Leaving an imprint of His blessings.

That's the first time I've actually been excited about the thought of Ben being in school, maybe next year. Thank you for your precious words . . . And I laughed out loud when I read "Help me." Help us all!!!! Love you!
