Swingset

As you know, we love to be outside!  We just got this swingset for Sam and he just loves it.  Yesterday was the first time that we got to play on it and as he was climbing the ladder for the first time, he said, "I am soooo excited to have this.  I love it."  It is quite a structure to have in the backyard, but I think that we will use it a lot!

Of course, there is always a "Sam story" to go with everything...

After about 30 minutes of our first playtime on the swingset, Sam looks at me from the top of the swingset and says, "Mama, I need to poo poo."  I say, "ok, just slide down and we'll run inside."  Sam says, "no, I'll just go in my underpants."  I say, "no, come down...we need to go inside."  Jacob starts screaming.  I get Sam down.  We run inside.  I set Jacob down (poor second child) I put Sam on the potty.  He went in his pants.  It is all over the toilet.  (the housekeepers had JUST left our house).  Jacob is still screaming.  Sam starts screaming because he is crazy about things being neat and clean.  I tell him that I'll go get something to clean.  I leave the bathroom.  I hear laughing...never good when a boy is on the potty.  He thought it would be fun to pee all over the bathroom (did I mention that the cleaners had JUST left??).  Jacob is still screaming.  I am about to scream, but decide that wouldn't help.  Thankfully, I grabbed a whole container of clorox wipes.  Thankfully, Sam didn't step in anything.  Then, after that, it was time for a nap.  Jacob stopped screaming and went to sleep.  Sam went to sleep with a clean bottom and clean pants and clean bathroom.  All is well!
