Happy Father's Day! We had a relaxing Father's Day this year! Our gift to David was bikes for us to ride together as a family. Sam enjoys his trailer quite a bit and we enjoyed riding up to the Village Center to have breakfast this weekend! On Father's Day, we went to church and then we went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory. That evening, we went to Mimi and Grandpa's house to celebrate with my family! I am so thankful for the amazing father that David is. It is so much fun to watch him be a dad to Sam. Sam has just started running to the door when he hears David's truck pull up and it warms my heart so much. He lights up when he sees his dad like nothing else! David has surpassed any expectation I could have had for him as a dad. He helps with everything...from feeding to baths to diapers, and even putting Sam to bed! One of my favorite things is that David gives Sam his bath every night, and I love to hear them laughing together and playing together! I fall more in love with David everyday as we journey in this thing called parenting together!
